The actor and director looked so elegant while out in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood earlier in June. Her ensemble consisted of simple yet unique staples: an artful sweater dress and the prettiest flats.

The dress was a navy piece from Me+Em crafted from bouclé fabric and made Holmes look like she should have been lounging on a yacht with a chilled glass of champagne. The top was fitted and had a high neck, as well as subtle cutouts at the waist, from where the long skirt flared out. The skirt was broken up with white vertical stripes and had a fun raw hem for added texture.
Holmes wore the elevated piece with pointy white ballet flats with straps at the top and ankles. She added her go-to gold nose hoop and a bright red lip, as well as some smoky eye shadow.
