WELLS — Voted Reader’s Choice “best breakfast” four years in a row, The Family Inn is a restaurant that offers warm, family-oriented atmosphere, and genuine home cooked meals.
Owners Josh and Kim LaBonte have owned The Family Inn since August of 2016. It had previously been ran by another family member.
The restaurant originally opened in 1954 and since has had 13 owners.
Individuals looking for a unique restaurant experience should find an open seat that’s available seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
According to owners Josh and Kim LaBonte, The Family Inn prides themselves in remaining open seven days a week, operating over 12 hours a day — even after the pandemic.
In 2020, several restaurants and businesses lost a multitude of both customers and staff members due to the pandemic, but not The Family Inn.
“Our staff members really are dedicated to what they do. We really just have an amazing staff is what it comes down to. We’re one of the few restaurants in the area that has really not had to make a lot of changes to our hours or the business itself. A lot of restaurants lost staff and had to cut their days and hours,” said LaBonte.
Additionally, most of the staff people see at The Family Inn are well experienced, having been part of the restaurant for over 20 years.
When coming into the restaurant, individuals can expect to instantly be greeted by smiling staff and a variety of pleasant aromas.
